Urgent need for relief kits

Cyclone Fani caused massive destruction of shelter and livelihoods along the coastal districts of Odisha. While 41 people lost their lives to the cyclone, millions of people have been affected.

Based on CARE India’s rapid needs assessment, relief efforts are being carried out in the slums of Bhubaneswar, and later in Khordha district. We are reaching out to 5000 households with relief kits, including tarpaulin, rope, bucket, mosquito net, water purification tablets, etc.

CARE has been working in Odisha among the poorest and most marginalised communities for decades and responding to several natural disasters since the Super Cyclone in 1999.

We need your support TODAY so that we can help the survivors.
