Towards enhancing access to health care services for rural communities in Madhepura, Bihar

CARE India, with support from Alstom Foundation organised a Health Camp on June 28, 2019 in Madhepura, Bihar. This health camp provided the rural communities in Madhepura access to a variety of healthcare services.

Over 200 people, including 93 women registered at the health camp.

The health camp included the following services:

• General health check-up
• Special health check-up for pregnant and lactating women
• Counselling for pregnant and lactating women
• Gynaecological check-up for women and girls to address their health queries

The Health Camp was primarily meant to serve the residents of Ganesh Sthan village in Madhepura district.
