Empowerment of women and girls being at the core of our work, mandates us to address gender-based inequality. Globally CARE has committed to “the right to a life free from violence” as one of the outcomes against which we measure our impact and hold ourselves accountable. During this year’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence activation, on December 7, 2021, CARE India and the World Bank hosted a webinar “Pushing for Impact: Policy, Program, and Workplace Innovations to Address Gender-Based Violence.” The webinar highlighted GBV interventions that are being conducted with state actors, the community, and in the workplace.
