Shashank has over twelve years of experience in the fields of women’s economic empowerment, climate justice, food and nutrition security program designing, management and implementation to address poverty, discrimination, and advance gender transformative changes. He is presently Heading the Economic Development Unit of CARE India. He brings a rich knowledge in approaches and models of gender integrated livelihood programming, specifically in dignified work domain, value chains promotion, entrepreneurship development and financial inclusion.
Before joining CARE, Shashank has worked extensively in the field of micro-finance research and financial inclusion.
Shashank holds an MBA in Agri-Business Management from Symbiosis International University.
