Sridhar Srikantiah

Sridhar Srikantiah, Technical Director, Bihar TSU, CARE-India, is an MD (Pediatrics), and a Hubert H Humphrey Fellow (2001). He has been involved in the design, implementation, operations research, monitoring and evaluation of a wide range of Community Health and Public Health initiatives in India over the past 30 years, in the NGO and public sectors. He was Country Team Leader in India of USAID’s flagship technical assistance program for child survival, BASICS, between 2002 and 2007, closely supporting CARE India’s Integrated Nutrition and Health Project (INHP). He has provided direct technical assistance for the design and implementation of key initiatives of the ICDS program at the national level (Ministry of Women and Child Development), as well as to the malaria and leishmaniasis components of the National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare).
