Women Entrepreneurship Development

Employing cutting-edge capabilities to positively impact marginalized lives by enhancing their financial and business literacy, life skills, employability, and entrepreneurship readiness in urban and semi-urban settings.

CARE India’s Women Entrepreneurship Development initiative aims to develop the capacity, capability, and occupational & entrepreneurial skillset of marginalised women to increase their readiness for starting their own ventures. Through partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders including the government, NGOs, research institutions and corporate entities, we create an enabling environment for technological and institutional innovation, and to facilitate effective scaling up of interventions to achieve large scale impact.
