CARE India collaborated with Amazon, the largest Internet-based retailer in June 2016 to undertake intervention in eight villages in Tamil Nadu to enable women empowerment and well-being of their families by enabling access to services, strengthening institutions and community groups at the village/location. The project aims to ensure the wellbeing of 700 households are enhanced and that the women in these households are empowered.
