CARE India’s Preparedness initiative works in adherence with the principles and standards for humanitarian accountability, knowledge generation and collected evidence on good practices through post-action reviews, post-distribution monitoring and complaint & feedback mechanism. Our capacity to respond in an effective and timely manner is ensured by pre-positioning relief items, contingency funds, national and state emergency preparedness plans, and building the capacities of staff on emergency roster and that of local NGO partners.
