Relief from Tamil Nadu Floods

Disaster Management Charity work for helping floods affected people


CARE India responded to the massive floods in the state of Tamil Nadu in south India last year. The floods had affected over a million people in districts of Cuddalore, Thiruvalllur, Kachipuram and Chennai. CARE India further expanded its response to the flood affected areas in, Kancheepuram, Cuddalore and Chennai. This decision was taken based on the initial assesment from the CARE India’s staff who are there in the field.
