Our Cyclone Thane Appeal aims to raise Rs. 2.5 crores to provide emergency supplies and long-term support to the 800,000 people of Cuddalore District in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry who were affected by this disaster on December 30, 2011.
We are reaching out to you to provide 20,000 families with tarpaulins, candles and matches, as well as floor mats and hygiene kits, particularly to help pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls. With your help we can also build 100-150 low-cost homes for those who have lost theirs, and prepare better for the future. Please give generously.
