16 days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence 2022

Empowerment of women and girls being at the core of our work, mandates us to address gender based inequality. Taking this agenda forward and to show our solidarity and commitment towards the cause, we observe ‘16 days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence’ – a key global campaign every year.

Starting from 25^th November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and extending till 10^th December, International Human Rights Day, the world observes an annual period of heightened awareness and increased media focus on all forms of violence against women and girls.

CARE India stands in strong support of this 16-days activism campaign and calls out for your continued commitment in strengthening local work around gender based violence against women and provide a forum where together we can co-develop and share new and effective strategies.
