TATA projects

Tata Projects and CARE India are working together to strengthen infant, child and maternal health including adolescent health, with nutrition and WASH outcomes, to reduce morbidity and mortality in two districts each of Telengana and Odisha.

The work on the ground to support health nutrition outcomes among marginalized communities is towards improving quality of service delivery including infrastructure upgrade support at Primary Health Care Centres and Anganwadis, and also capacity building of front line workers for better delivery of services.

Alongside, the community is being mobilized and motivated with knowledge regarding appropriate health, sanitation and nutrition behaviour. Increased community awareness for practicing safe maternal and child health behaviour is also being planned at the community level.

Started in September 2020, this three year project which involves working closely with the state government, will benefit more than 55,000 project participants.
